Coaching Agreement - Terms and Conditions
Please read the following important terms and conditions carefully before you place an order for Coaching Services on my Website and ensure you understand them.
Summary of some of your key rights:
The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 say that in most cases, you can cancel within 14 days. If you agree the delivery of the Coaching Services will start within this time, you may be charged for what I've provided. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says you can ask me to repeat part of the Coaching Services if they are not carried out with reasonable care and skill, or get some money back if I can’t repeat them. This Coaching Agreement (the "Agreement") sets out:
- Your legal rights and responsibilities;
- My legal rights and responsibilities; and
- Certain key information required by law.
To create a successful coaching relationship, it's also important that we agree to fulfil the following obligations:
For my part, I will:
- Commit to helping you discover yourself and the possibilities of a life without alcohol;
- Encourage you in committing to the programme. Love Life Sober does not guarantee results and you are responsible for your commitment and ultimately, your success;
- Work with you for as long as you want to work with me. Coaching is different for everyone and I appreciate that your needs are bespoke. At the end of 12 sessions of coaching, I will present you with options and give you the opportunity to continue working with me;
- Keep everything you tell me completely confidential unless I feel you are at significant risk of harming yourself or someone else;
- Provide you with weekly one hour (or whatever we agree) one-to-one online coaching sessions at a mutually convenient time for 12 sessions;
- Provide you with at least 24 hours notice if I need to reschedule a session; and
- Respond to any WhatsApp messages and/or emails you send me in between sessions, within 2 days.
In return, I ask that you:
- Pay the agreed Fees on placing your order on my Website;
- Keep all discussions between us strictly confidential;
- Engage with the reading, homework or strategies I provide you with to support your personal growth. This includes preparing for the online coaching sessions we will have together by watching or reading the daily lessons in your LoveLifeSober.com portal, completing as many journaling assignments as you can and completing the pre-coaching form you will be given prior to each online coaching session;
- Provide me with at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule a coaching session;
- Use all 12 of your coaching sessions within 8 months of entering this Agreement. Any sessions you do not use within this time will expire and will not be carried over into any future coaching agreement we enter into with you.
- Attend all coaching sessions while sober. If you attend a coaching session while intoxicated I will cancel the coaching session and you will not receive a refund for the cancelled session.
- Acknowledge and agree that the Programme is not intended to and does not provide you with any legal, medical, psychological advice, or health advice. You are responsible for any decisions you make relating to your wellness and all other matters during the course of the Programme.
In this Agreement:
- ‘I’, ‘me’, ‘my’ or 'Love Life Sober' means Love Life Sober Ltd; and
- ‘you’or ‘your’ means the person using my Website to buy our Programme.

1. Introduction
1.1 If you buy Coaching Services on my Website, you agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.
1.2 When buying any Coaching Services on my Website, you also agree to be legally bound by:
(a) my Website terms and conditions and
(b) my Privacy Policy.
All of the above documents form part of this Agreement as though set out in full here.
2. Definitions and interpretation
2.1 The following definitions and rules of interpretation apply in these Terms and Conditions:

all Love Life Sober Six-Month Coaching Programme information, documents, videos, materials, titles, images and logos; |
Coaching Services: |
the provision of the Programme; |
Confidential Information: |
information and physical material not generally known or available outside Love Life Sober including, without limitation, my Programme methods, Coaching Materials and confidential information concerning my business, assets, affairs, clients and suppliers, and, additionally, information and physical material entrusted to Love Life Sober in confidence by third parties, in all cases whether such information or materials are disclosed to you by me either directly or indirectly, whether in writing, electronically, orally, or by observation; |

has the meaning set out in clause 5.5.

the date my Agreement with you will commence, which is the date set out in your Confirmation Email. |
Fees: |
$5100 (Either 6 payments of $850, or upfront and pay $4900). All prices are in US Dollars and include taxes at the applicable rate.

Intellectual Property Rights: |
all patents, rights to inventions, utility models, copyright, trademarks, service marks, rights in get-up, rights in goodwill and to sue for passing off, unfair competition, design rights, moral rights, rights in confidential information (including know-how and trade secrets) all applications for renewals and extensions of any such rights, and all other intellectual property rights of a similar nature (whether registered or unregistered), in each case, subsisting anywhere in the world;

the Love Life Sober Six-Month Coaching Programme including: · Love Life Sober 30 Day Booze Break Video Course for your first 30 days: o The course includes daily videos, journaling, recommended reading and worksheets. Course modules include: how to handle cravings, navigate friendships early in sobriety, how drinking affects our health, and how alcohol affects our brain and our sleep; o It also teaches you strategies that will help you lose the desire to drink; · 12, one hour online coaching call with your Love Life Sober Coach; Christy Osborne. · Unlimited text (WhatsApp) and email support (I will respond to any WhatsApp messages and/or emails you send me in between sessions, within 2 days); and · Daily email lessons to continue your learning (sent to you during month 2 and 3 of the Programme). · Access to the Finding Freedom group for weekly calls for 6 months. |

2.2 A reference to legislation or a legislative provision is a reference to it as amended, extended or re-enacted from time to time. A reference to legislation or a legislative provision includes all subordinate legislation made from time to time under that legislative or legislative provision.
2.3 Any words following the terms including, include, in particular, for example or any similar expression shall be interpreted as illustrative and shall not limit the sense of the words preceding those terms.
2.4 A reference to writing or written includes email.
3. Information I give you
3.1 By law, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 say that I must give you certain key information before a legally binding contract between you and Love Life Sober is made. If you want to see this key information, please:
(a) click on the ‘key information’ button; or
(b) contact me at [email protected].
3.2 The key information I give you by law forms part of this Agreement (as though it is set out in full here).
3.3 If I have to change any key information once a legally binding contract between you and Love Life Sober is made, I can only do this if you agree to it.
4. Your privacy and personal information
4.1 My Privacy Policy is available at https://www.lovelifesober.co.uk/privacy-policy.
4.2 Your privacy and personal information are important to me. Any personal information that you provide to me will be dealt with in line with my Privacy Policy, which explains what personal information I collect from you, how and why I collect, store, use and share such information, your rights in relation to your personal information and how to contact me and supervisory authorities if you have a query or complaint about the use of your personal information
5. Ordering services from me
5.1 Below, I set out how a legally binding contract between you and Love Life Sober is made.
5.2 Following an initial discovery call, I will send you a link to a sales page on my Website where you can place an order. Please read and check your order carefully before submitting it. You will be able to correct any errors before submitting your order to me.
5.3 When you accept these terms and conditions and place your order on the sales page (e.g. when you click on 'Complete My Purchase') this does not mean that your order has been accepted by me.
5.4 I may contact you to say that I do not accept your order. This is typically for the following reasons:
- I cannot carry out the Coaching Services;
- I cannot authorise your payment;
- you are not allowed to buy the Coaching Services from Love Life Sober;
- I am not allowed to sell the Coaching Services to you; or
- there has been a mistake on the pricing or description of the Coaching Services.
5.5 I will only accept your order when I email you to confirm this (the "Confirmation Email"). At this point:
- a legally binding contract will be in place between you and Love Life Sober; and
- I will provide the Coaching Services as agreed during the online checkout process.
5.6 If you are under the age of 18 you may not buy Coaching Services from the Website.
6. Your obligations
6.1 By entering this Agreement, you agree:
(a) to pay the Fees on placing your order on my Website;
(b) at all times during the Programme and thereafter, to hold in the strictest confidence any Confidential Information that you obtain or access from me. You further agree not to make copies of such Confidential Information unless you have obtained prior written authorisation from me to do so;
(c) to participate fully in and complete the Programme including:
- engaging with the reading, homework or strategies I provide you with to support your personal growth;
- preparing for the online coaching sessions we will have together by watching or reading the daily lessons in your LoveLifeSober.com portal;
- completing as many journaling assignments as you can;
- completing the pre-coaching form you will be given prior to each online coaching session; and
- using the LoveLifeSober.com portal, email and WhatsApp appropriately and not while intoxicated.
(d) to provide me with at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice if you need to reschedule a coaching session. If you miss a coaching session entirely without prior notice, it will not be rescheduled or refunded;
(e) to use all twelve (12) of your coaching sessions within eight (8) months of the Effective Date. Any sessions you do not use within this time will expire and will not be carried over into any future coaching agreement I enter into with you; and
(f) to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
6.2 You agree that Love Life Sober is and shall be the sole and exclusive owner of all rights, title, and interest in and to all Love Life Sober Intellectual Property Rights, including the Coaching Materials, and you do not have the right to copy, modify, make derivative works of, use, sell, lease, rent, import, or otherwise distribute the Coaching Materials.
6.3 You acknowledge and agree that the Programme is not intended to and does not provide you with any legal, medical, psychological advice, or health advice. You are responsible for any decisions you make relating to your wellness and all other matters during the course of the Programme.
6.4 You agree that your use of the information in the Programme is at your own risk and that I do not guarantee results.
6.5 You shall pay me for and hold me harmless from and against all liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, losses, damage, costs or expenses suffered or incurred by my (including legal and professional fees) arising in connection with any of your acts or omissions in relation to this Agreement.
7. My obligations
7.1 I will carry out the Coaching Services within eight (8) months of the Effective Date and as set out in the Confirmation Email (see clause 5.5).
7.2 My carrying out of the Coaching Services might be affected by events beyond my reasonable control. If so, there might be a delay before I can start or restart the Coaching Services, having made reasonable efforts to limit the effect of any of those events and having kept you informed of the circumstances, but I will try to start or restart the Coaching Services as soon as those events have been fixed.
8. Right to cancel this Agreement
8.1 You have the right to cancel this Agreement within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason. However, you do not have the right to cancel if you requested for me to start providing the Coaching Services during the cancellation period and the Coaching Services are fully performed during this period. This is further explained in clauses 8.5 and 8.6 below.
8.2 The cancellation period will expire after fourteen (14) days from the Effective Date.
8.3 To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform me of your decision to cancel this Agreement by a clear statement by email to [email protected]. You may use the model cancellation form available at the end of the terms, but it is not obligatory.
8.4 To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
8.5 I will not start providing the Coaching Services during the 14-day cancellation period unless you ask me to. When you place an order for Coaching Services, you will be asked to tick a box to acknowledge that you accept these terms and conditions. By ticking the box, you are also requesting for me to start providing the Coaching Services during the cancellation period and you acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel this Agreement once the Coaching Services are fully performed.
8.6 This means that if you requested for me to start providing the Coaching Services during the cancellation period and I have fully completed the Coaching Services during this period, you lose your right to cancel and will be required to pay the total Fees under this Agreement even if the cancellation period has not expired.
8.7 This does not affect the rights you have if the Coaching Services have not been carried out with reasonable care and skill. If the Coaching Services are not carried out with reasonable care and skill, you can ask me to repeat the Coaching Services or get some money back if I cannot repeat the Coaching Services. See also clause 11 below.
9. Effects of cancellation
9.1 If you cancel this Agreement, I will reimburse to you all payments received from you unless you requested for me to start providing the Coaching Services during the cancellation period, in which case you must pay me:
a. for the Coaching Services I provided up to the time you told me that you want to cancel this Agreement, which will be an amount of the Fees in proportion to the Coaching Services performed up to that point in comparison with the full Fees under this Agreement; or
b. the full Fees under this Agreement, if you lost your right to cancel this Agreement because the Coaching Services were fully performed (i.e. the work was completed) during the cancellation period.
9.2 I will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than fourteen (14) days after the day on which I am informed about your decision to cancel this Agreement.
9.3 I will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
10. Payment
10.1 You must pay the Fees in full via my Website, at the point of placing your Order and accepting these Terms and Conditions.
10.2 I accept all credit cards and debit cards. I do not accept cash or cheques.
10.3 I will do all that I reasonably can to ensure that all of the information you give me when paying for the Coaching Services is secure by using an encrypted secure payment mechanism. However, in the absence of negligence on my part, any failure by me to comply with these Terms and Conditions or my Privacy Policy (see clause 4) or any breach by Love Life Sober of our duties under applicable laws, I will not be legally responsible to you for any loss that you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to any information that you give me.
10.4 Your credit card or debit card will be charged when you click on 'Complete My Purchase' on the sales page (see clause 5.3).
10.5 All payments by credit card or debit card need to be authorised by the relevant card issuer, which may also need to use extra security steps to help protect your account against fraud and unauthorised use.
10.6 Nothing in this clause affects your legal right to cancel the Agreement during the cancellation period as set out in clauses 8 and 9.
10.7 All prices are in US dollars and include taxes at the applicable rate.
11. Nature of the Coaching Services
11.1 The Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you certain legal rights (also known as ‘statutory rights’). The Coaching Services that I provide to you must be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
11.2 For more detailed information on your rights and what you should expect from me, please:

b. visit the Citizens Advice website www.citizensadvice.org.uk or call 0808 223 1133.
11.3 Nothing in this Agreement affects your statutory rights. You may also have other rights in law.
12. End of the Agreement
12.1 If this Agreement is ended it will not affect my right to receive any money which you owe to me under this Agreement.
12.2 This Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and shall continue for eight (8) months unless terminated earlier in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
12.3 Either you or Love Life Sober may terminate the Agreement or suspend the Coaching Services (and your participation in the Programme) at any time by a written notice of termination or suspension to the other if that other commits a serious breach of the Agreement (which shall include non-payment of all or part of the Fees) and the breach either cannot be fixed or is not fixed within fourteen (14) days of the written notice.
13. Limitation on my liability
13.1 Except for any legal responsibility that I cannot exclude in law (such as for death or personal injury) or arising under applicable laws relating to the protection of your personal information, I am not legally responsible for any:
a. losses that were not foreseeable to you and Love Life Sober when the Agreement was formed;
b. losses that were not caused by any breach on my part;
c. business losses; or
d. losses to non-consumers.
13.2 Subject to clause 13.1 above, my total liability to you shall not exceed the amount of the Fees.
13.3 I am not a licensed medical professional and the information presented in the Programme is in no way intended as medical advice, substance abuse counselling, psychological counselling, or as a substitute for medical or any other professional counselling.
14 Third party rights
14.1 No one other than a party to this Agreement has any right to enforce any term of this Agreement.
15. Disputes
15.1 I will try to resolve any disputes with you quickly and efficiently. If you are unhappy with the Coaching Services I have provided or any other matter, please contact me as soon as possible at [email protected].
15.2 If a dispute cannot be resolved or you are unhappy with the outcome, you may want to use alternative dispute resolution (ADR). ADR is a process for resolving disputes between you and Love Life Sober that does not involve going to court.
15.3 You can submit your dispute to London Arbitration Centre by going to http://www.londonarbitrationcentre.com is the ADR provider I use and is approved by the government to provide ADR services.
15.4 If you do not wish to use ADR or are unhappy with the outcome of ADR, you can still bring court proceedings.
15.5 The laws of England apply to this Agreement, although if you are resident elsewhere, you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of that country.
15.6 Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or its subject matter or form. This means that you can choose whether to bring a claim in the courts of England or in the courts of another part of the UK in which you live.

Key Information
Thank you for your interest in participating in my Love Life Sober Six-Month Coaching Programme (the "Programme"). The Programme includes:
o The course includes daily videos, journaling, recommended reading and worksheets. Course modules include: how to handle cravings, navigate friendships early in sobriety, how drinking affects our health, and how alcohol affects our brain and our sleep; o It also teaches you strategies that will help you lose the desire to drink;
The price of the Programme is £4500, or £4200 if you pay upfront. All prices are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT at the applicable rate. Payment must be made in full on signing this Agreement via the sales page on my website or in the six-month instalments. www.lovelifesober.co.uk. I will send you a link to the sales page following an initial discovery call with you. The Agreement will commence on the date set out in your Confirmation Email and shall continue for 8 months unless terminated earlier in accordance with the Coaching Agreement – Terms and Conditions.
