WORRIED DRY JANUARY WILL BE ALL DOOM & GLOOM?

“When do you get your PCR results?”

We are gearing up to fly from London to L.A (where my whole family is), this week. A girlfriend and I were chatting about what we had to do to get on our respective airplanes for the holidays. All of a sudden I stopped mid-sentence…

“I can NOT believe we are still having these conversations at Christmas time, AGAIN!” I simply can’t. How are we still talking about lateral flows, and vaccinations, and death rates? I almost feel like I can’t remember the time pre-pandemic. My husband is back to working from home. There is whispering about remote schooling in January. It’s A LOT to handle.

We has moms have had a rough 2 years, and as far as the pandemic goes, it doesn’t seem like there’s an end in sight. So when I sit here and talk Dry January to you, I can understand why some of you may be thinking- that’s the last thing I need in January. January is already cold and gloomy, why would you take my wine away from me as well, Christy?! Have you lost it? Haven’t we been through enough?!

Ladies. I get it. I hear you. Part of you is saying “I need a booze break!” and the other part is saying “Don’t take the one thing I’ve got, especially right now!”

This Dry January is going to be different.
This program is NOT about deprivation.
This program is NOT about counting down the days until you can drink again.
This program is NOT about judgement.
This program is NOT about doom and gloom. (We’ve had enough of that!)
This program is going to be fun and empowering!

This program is about looking inside yourself, asking yourself questions so you can get to know the reasons behind why you drink, and then you get to decide how it fits into your life.

If you’ve decided to do a month off of alcohol already, and are worried about feeling gloomy, sad, and deprived- then this course is for you!!! This course will empower you to make the best choices about drinking for you and for your family! And that isn’t gloomy and depressing- that is AWESOME!

By doing Dry January alone, you are not receiving the support you need to make lasting healthy decisions for the rest of the year, and for the rest of your life. By not working on your alcohol mindset, it’s more difficult to create sustainable change. And that’s what I want for you- long lasting change!

Let’s face it. January can be a rough month. We’ve still got this bloody pandemic going on. What you need is better sleep, more energy, and focus to get you through! (Hint- wine steals all of that!)

Drinking isn’t helping your mental health.
Drinking isn’t helping your physical health.
You know you need a shake up in your habits.
And I want to be the one to help you through it.

I created this Dry January program for busy moms like you and me. If (heaven forbid) we do have to go into another remote schooling situation, there’s an easy to follow along course that you can do in the comfort of your home for only £99. You’ll also get the chance to connect with other moms doing the program at the same time as you.

If you need a friend to hold your hand through this, then you also have the opportunity to book 1:1 coaching with me. This package is for the ladies that are ready to do a deep dive into their personal beliefs about alcohol because they want to make permanent change in their drinking habits.

Neither program is about quitting forever. My tween daughter likes to say “You’re not the boss of me.” Well, I’m not the boss of you, dear reader, either. You get to decide after a month off of alcohol if you want to moderate, just drink on special occasions, or quit forever. I am just here to help you make that decision for yourself.

Right now I’ve got room for 3 more ladies for 1:1 coaching in January. If you want to snag one of those places, please book a discovery call here LET’S TALK DRY JAN 1:! COACHING!

If you would prefer to do the self-study Dry January program, that’s cool too. I’ve packed almost everything I’ve ever learned into an easy to follow program. You’ll get daily videos, lessons, tactics, journaling prompts, and the opportunity to connect to other women going through the program at the same time in a private group. Registrations for the Dry January course close on December 31st.
